I lost my first wife and son to a drunk driver. My wife was in labor with our first child on her way to the hospital. The drunk driver, an 18 year old girl, also died in the accident. I was two weeks into basic training for the Army when this happened. I used to sit with her and watch CHiP’s reruns all the time, it was our favorite show. Our son’s middle name was ‘Wilcox’. Can you guess where we got that from?
This destroyed my life and took me several years to recover.
